What Families Are Saying
Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We cannot recommend Proactive Pediatric Physical Therapy enough! Our son was delayed in his gross motor skills, especially crawling, and by 10 months old Aidee and Daniella helped him make incredible progress. He learned to crawl, stand, pull up, furniture cruise, and ultimately walked independently right at 12 months old. The environment is calm, comforting, and welcoming, and they did an amazing job supporting our son’s needs while pushing him in the best ways without overwhelming him. We are so grateful for their care and expertise, and we will absolutely be back with our next child!Posted on Google Mackenzie ATrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our daughter’s pediatrician recommended this place to us to help our daughter walk confidently. Daniella was great to work with and they are great with communication. The PT who actually worked with our daughter was unbelievable. She made our daughter feel so comfortable and confident immediately and the level of care was just absolutely amazing. Our daughter’s PT was Aidee and you’d be lucky to have her!!!! Thank you guys so much!!!Posted on Google Robert AaronTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We worked with Daniella in 2021/2022 for physical therapy (PT) for our young son, who was 3–12 months old at the time. He had a severe case of congenital neck torticollis and needed intensive PT to regain normal neck range of motion and strength. As first-time parents, it was a stressful, scary, and overwhelming experience. Thankfully, we were referred to Daniella early, and we couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. She provided the right exercises, of course, but more importantly, she supported us—the parents—with the heavy emotional burden we carried. No matter our mood—happy, exhausted, or even sad—she met us with the perfect attitude and emotional intelligence. Delivering such quick results while managing our emotions and pandemic-era challenges proves Daniella is exceptional. She’s a joy to work with and talk to. The true mark of her skill is that I now look back on that time with a smile and pride, grateful for how our son and family overcame those obstacles—it could have gone so much worse. I highly recommend Daniella. I can’t imagine a better pediatric physical therapist. Good luck to any family whose child needs PT—Daniella will guide you through it!Posted on Google Hunter PlochTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My daughter went to Daniella for years. Daniella was knowledgeable, sweet, and kind to my daughter and to me. I have nothing but positive things to say about Daniella and appreciate everything she did for my daughter.Posted on Google Michelle ShvartsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I highly recommend Daniella as a pediatric PT! In addition to being incredibly professional and amazing at her job, her bedside manner is impeccable and she makes parents feel at ease during the most stressful times. She was able to help me get my son a hip xray within 24 hours after examining him and suggesting he had hip dysplasia. She got him crawling and walking post surgery faster than I could have hoped. There is no one better!Posted on Google Taylor FormanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Daniella is a gem! She is so patient, kind and an amazing PT! She thoroughly evaluated my son and was able to quickly determine where his deficits were and what the appropriate course of treatment was. She made therapy sessions fun for him — so much so he was asking to see her weekly. I can’t say enough great things about Daniella! She truly is the best!Posted on Google Lianna GoldTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Daniella is an incredible Physical Therapist. She has seen both of our children for well over a year now on a weekly basis and she could not be more professional and kind. Initial evaluations take about 60 minutes and consist of both assessment, goal setting, and treatment. Standard follow-up sessions are 45 minutes.
At Proactive Pediatric Physical Therapy, we believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Every child is unique, with their own strengths, challenges, diagnosis, goals, and family circumstances. Our goal is to provide the right amount of therapy to help your child make meaningful progress while empowering you with the knowledge and tools to support their development at home. Following your child’s comprehensive evaluation, your physical therapist will recommend a treatment frequency that is individualized based on your child’s specific needs, developmental level, and goals. As your child progresses, we continually reassess their plan of care and adjust the frequency of visits as appropriate. Some children may benefit from weekly therapy, while others may require more or less frequent visits depending on their progress and individual circumstances. Our focus is always on providing the highest quality, evidence-based care while partnering with your family to help your child reach their fullest potential in a timely manner.
Absolutely! In fact, we highly encourage parents and caregivers to remain in the room during therapy sessions. Watching your child’s sessions allows you to learn the techniques, exercises, and strategies being used so you can confidently incorporate them into your daily routine at home. Consistent practice outside of therapy is one of the most important factors in helping children make faster, more meaningful progress. At Proactive Pediatric Physical Therapy, we believe parents are an essential part of the therapy team. By working together, we can maximize your child’s progress and help them reach their full potential.
Your child’s progress depends on consistent practice both during and between therapy sessions. Your physical therapist will create a personalized Home Exercise Program and teach you simple, effective ways to incorporate therapeutic exercises, stretches, and developmental activities into your everyday routines, such as during playtime, diaper changes, bath time, or other daily activities. By making therapy a natural part of your family’s routine, you’ll help reinforce new skills, accelerate your child’s progress, and maximize the benefits of each therapy session.
